The 5-axis drilling function allows drilling jobs with different tool angles to be automatically programmed simply and quickly in a single operation. An automated function calculates the tool position. The lead-in points to the holes are linked together and are path-optimised and checked for collisions. If collisions are detected, the cycle automatically positions the tool on a collision-free plane.
