OPEN MIND Technologies AG is looking for an Application Engineer CAD / CAM for our international GES Team (Global Engineering Services)
Location: Germany or in any of our worldwide locations – Homeoffice based or office based plus 50% travel

Your tasks

Product training and development for our global employees
Product presentations and trainings for our international customers and partners
Supporting global key projects in NC programming and manufacturing
Realization of partner events
Analysis of customer requirements through feasibility studies and workshops
Interface to our Development team and the Product Management team
Representation of OPEN MIND on fairs and exhibitions
Support services for our partners and offices

Your background

Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a completed professional education as a toolmaker or mechanical engineer
CAD-Systems (preferably AutoCAD, CATIA, thinkdesign, SolidWorks) CAM-Systems NC-Programming
Min of 5 years of experience within the CAD/CAM industry, strong computer skills, shop-floor or manufacturing engineering experience
Multi-axis milling and multi-task machining experience is preferred.
Very customer focused
Excellent analytical skills
Ability and willingness to travel globally 50%
Proven strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills as well as excellent customer relation skills
Fluent in English and one other language
