OPEN MIND Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a candidate to join us for an expansion. Our Singapore office is responsible for sales and support of hyperMILL®, a leading technology in Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) solutions, and a pioneer in 5-axis machining technologies. We are adding new Technical Sales position due to our growth in the business for Southeast Asia region and South Korea.

As a Technical Sales Executive m/f/d for the CNC machining industry, you will engage with our South Korean resellers to ensure their business success in reselling hyperMILL®. You will assist in planning and strategizing to grow the business in the country. You will also play a significant role in acquiring regional Korean accounts by understanding what CAM technology they are currently using and uncover opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies through acquisition of new or additional CAM technologies of hyperMILL®.

Location: Singapore

Your tasks:

  • You develop, enable and maintain a relationship with resellers in South Korea to ensure they have the highest technical capabilities for their business expansion of hyperMILL® in the country.
  • To ensure successful and broad adoption of our technology solutions and service offerings by customers in South Korea through our resellers.
  • You meet and exceed key KPI’s that are purposefully defined for the success of our partners in terms of revenue growth and in-depth technical capabilities
  • You troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues and concerns
  • You document and update customer records based on interactions in our CRM System
  • You develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services offering

Your profile:

  • You hold a diploma from an accredited polytechnic or university and / or 3 years of business to business sales experience
  • You have 2 or more years of experience in account management, customer service, sales - preferred but not mandatory
  • You have a software and/or ideally CNC machining industry background
  • You have a positive and professional demeanour
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You desire to participate in professional development and take on new responsibilities
  • You are self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • You have highly proficient computer skills including Microsoft Dynamics CRM software, Outlook, MS Word, Excel
  • Spoken and written language: English and Korean
