OPEN MIND Technologies AG held the international Sales & Tech Symposium for its employees and resellers from 14–16 May 2019. Alongside the wealth of information conveyed at the event, there was also much cause for celebration, as the CAD/CAM specialist is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Over 370 guests from around the world made the most of the opportunity to network and exchange information regarding the latest developments of its hyperMILL® CAM and hyperCAD®-S CAD software.

Volker Nesenhöner, CEO at OPEN MIND, highlighted the company’s pioneering spirit. A prime example of that spirit is the motorcycle helmet that was programmed using cutting-edge hyperMILL® 5-axis technology.

On top of a fascinating series of lectures, an artistic performance in which a musician played an electronic violin that was programmed using hyperMILL® and milled from a block of material, garnered much attention from the guests.
