Thanks to his passion for CAD/CAM technologies – something he demonstrated in his previous positions at CENIT AG and N+P Informationssysteme GmbH – he is successfully expanding OPEN MIND’s international market position. The mathematician, who holds a doctorate in the subject, was one of the founders of OPEN MIND 28 years ago and laid the foundation for the lasting success of hyperMILL® with his enthusiasm for technology. He developed an innovative CAD/CAM software for 5-axis simultaneous machining for tool and mold making.
His innovative spirit and future-oriented thinking have shaped our technology development to this day and thus continue to contribute to our corporate success. What’s more, his enthusiasm is contagious and is a source of inspiration for every employee.

With more than 35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, the trained mechanical engineer knows the challenges of an ever-changing market. His motivating nature supports his team, which helps customers to get the best out of hyperMILL®.
